Second-Chance Hiring & Stigma Reduction

We help companies design and implement fair-chance hiring practices that align with DEI, compliance, and business goals. Services include:

We offer monthly consulting packages to serve as your recovery-informed HR advisor. This includes:

  • On-call support for complex HR situations

  • Policy updates as laws evolve

  • Support during employee leave, relapse, or accommodations

We deliver powerful training sessions—virtual or on-site—for HR leaders, people managers, and executives. Topics include:

  • Responding to relapse and accommodation requests

Certified Recovery-Ready Employer Program

Become a certified "Recovery-Ready Employer" through Head Up Services.

Our certification process recognizes organizations that demonstrate a commitment to supporting employees in or seeking recovery. The program includes:

  • Completion of an HR audit and recommended updates

  • At least one leadership training session delivered to managers

  • A second-chance hiring or accommodation protocol in place

  • Public pledge of support for dignity-first employment


Certified employers receive a digital badge, listing in our Recovery-Ready Employer Directory, and co-branded recognition materials for use in hiring, marketing, and internal morale.
